MOON UNDER WATER
Melbourne, Victoria

Top10 Image
Just down the road from his Three Hatted restaurant, Cutler & Co, Andrew McConnell has taken over the reins at the Builders Arms Hotel and opened fine diner, Moon Under Water. This 50 seat dining room, named after a George Orwell essay, is elegant and sophisticated with its French provincial inspired interior. Chef Josh Murphy has created a stunning four-course set menu for $75 per person. Reservations come highly recommended.

We dined at the early (6pm) sitting and had an excellent all round experience. A lovely fresh interior, prompt service that's not rushed. Friendly and knowledgeable staff and the set menu eliminated the need for decision making, we also chose the pairing with wines. Most importantly the food was excellent, delicate flavours combining lesser known ingredients with favourites and beautifully presented.
