The name of this restaurant might give you a hint as to what it has in store for you, but it certainly doesn't give it the justice it deserves. DETAILS

Resting a mere metre from the golden sands of Elwood beach, Sails on the Bay is the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch or a romantic dinner for two. The view of Port Phillip Bay is simply stunning, especially at dusk when the sun sets directly in view, swallowed whole by the sea beyond. Indoors sails hang from overhead as staff unobtrusively make this dining experience one to remember.

Ate there saturday 15 Dec 2012. Party of nine and limited menu only as called a small party. Some members disappointed at very small serves, especially asparagus entree. Waitress disputed my wife's choice of desert and I had to back up my wife as to what she had ordered. They did take away what they said she had ordered and brought her correct order but left a sour taste. My three choices of kingfish entree, eye fillet and trifle were superb.
