PROFILE BY BEST RESTAURANTS
The pastiche of upper and lower case on the menu makes my head spin, but it does hint at ZooTz KiTcheN BaR's playful nature. This beachside cafe converts to a bar on the approach of sunset, and has a large alfresco area serviced by views of rolling waves and the lick of a benevolent sea breeze. With its beach shack charm, you won't be surprised by the appearance of surf and turf (beef fillet topped with prawns and calamari, with a creamy garlic sauce) but you'll do well to remember ZooTz is also open for breakfast. Then you can enjoy the sunny outside tables and a glass of water spiked with Berocca to prepare you for the sweet Belgium waffles or a pancake stack.
