Adelaide, South Australia

Top10 Image
Adelaide's landmark German Club boasts a delightfully unique bistro that offers all the traditional classics of a German restaurant menu. When enjoying a room decorated with Berliner bears and steins, it seems only fitting you should fill the table with cuisine of the same origin. Expect every kind of sausage from bratwurst to Vienna, cheese kransky burgers, schnitzels and home made beef gulasch.

What a great place. The atmosphere is inviting with its quaint seating arrangements and hardwood stools. There is lots to look at in the glass display cases and this was a perfect distraction from my barely edible meal. 10 out of 10 for atmosphere! 1 out of 10 for food! I had 2 mains and left them both mostly uneaten. The kitchen staff was rude to me when I mentioned my dissatisfaction. Otherwise an interesting experience but eat first before visiting here.
