I have been to Pearl a few times before for breakfast and tapas and I have always had a lovely time. On Saturday night, myself and three friends thought it would be great to head to Pearl for some wine and tapas- it was very last minute planning and I hadn't made a booking so we thought we would just turn up and try our luck for a table!
On arrival, one of the lovely waitresses (who was so friendly and accommodating) informed me that there weren't any tables available downstairs but if we were after tapas we could always go upstairs to the 'Servery.' We had no idea there even was an upstairs but accepted and what followed was one of the most delightful dining experiences!
When we entered the gorgeous dimly lit kitchen we were met by another lovely waiter who seated us around the kitchen table and told us all about the servery. He was so passionate and full of knowledge about the different food and wine we sampled- which was all absolutely delicious. Two of my friends were also vegetarian and our waiter had no problems finding alternatives for them and making them feel so comfortable and relaxed. It was SO much fun watching the other chefs plating up the food for the Roast Room (almost like we were watching a production!) ... it was just the most fantastic night- Anyway, possibly one of the best dining experiences ever, and I will be recommending Pearl (and the Servery)to everyone!
