HAPPY HOURS TEA BAR (LISTING CLOSED)
Brisbane, Queensland

Top10 Image
Sneak under Sunnybank Plaza for Happy Hours Tea Bar. As none of its name suggests, this is a place for Taiwanese breakfasts, and equally cheap lunches. Among several Asian eateries in this shopping centre car park, seek it for budget Brisbane dining, and authentic fare. There are no frills, but you can eat your fill of pork belly, egg congee, or noodle soup with pigs' large intestine for a small price.

Happy Hours Tea Bar, Sunnybank. We have nicknamed this place the ‘Bain-Marie of Death' but don't let that put you off.... Haha. Sorry, probably a bit late for that, huh. Situated in a car park and adjoining an Asian Grocer and Chinese Doctor, this is definitely Brisbane's best kept cheap eat secret. And I mean cheap. Usually I can share a $9.95 plate and be full! Now it's not the sexiest bain-marie but boy is it tasty. And you know it's good when you are the only non-Asian in there. Every. Single. Time. Eat EVERYTHING! In particular the fish, pork belly and eggplant dishes.
