Lorenzo Nobilio and Andrew Burkill head up the kitchen team, bringing with them their wide-ranging experience in international and local restaurants. Together, they've crafted a breakfast, lunch and dinner menus that herald the fresh flavours of the Mediterranean – start the day with earthy Spanish baked beans and luscious honey ham cassoulet; opt for the salmon cake on top of a Turkish salad of parsley, mint, tomato cucumber and dates come midday; or finish your evening with hearty shared servings of seafood paella with saffron and paprika, or the elegant slow roasted pork belly on sauteed silverbeet, almonds, raisins and quince aioli. Meanwhile, the bar is a destination unto itself from which to enjoy tapas like tasty tapas like squid ink tartlets filled with lime cured ocean trout and crisp leek or chorizo on a shaved fennel salad with a fino sherry dressing alongside a range of Australian and imported wines, champagnes, beers and cocktails.
