Like a rose between two multinational thorns, Blackout stands out as something special. The decor is inspired by the blackouts that occurred in London during WWII. Citizens were asked to black out their windows, turn the lights off and stay inside so enemy aircraft couldn't navigate where they were. Indeed, staying inside is what you want to do in this establishment. The atmosphere is a perfect blend of cool and sophisticated. The menu contains something for everyone and the service is friendly and welcoming. Great to see this unique dining experience arrive in Lindfield. We will be coming back for more.

Very impressed with this venue. Awesome decor, great vibe. Relaxed and chilled. This area has been calling out for a hip place like this and it has arrived in spades. Friendly staff, good service and excellent menu. We will be back for sure - can't wait to sample more of the food (actually lunch next week is looking good!)

Went there last might with my daughter. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly service. Prices were reasonable for the trendy venue especially considering location. Having read the reviews yesterday I couldn't go past trying the Zucchini Flowers and found them to be fantastic. Will definitely be going back and bringing friends and family.

The vibe was relaxed. The venue and staff warm and welcoming. The bubbles (sparkling wine) were better than average. The coffee is good from a sipping a cool espresso martini to enjoying a perfect latte. Sitting at the bar made me think of my time in New York's famous Balthazar. Loved the mood and atmosphere - You've nailed it guys. Can't wait for the live music to start. We will be back soon.

Early days for this exciting new venture in Lindfield. Went there late Saturday evening and was very impressed by the decor, the friendly staff and the fantastic food. Loved the zucchini flowers but the steamed duck pancakes were a real winner. Got the makings of a great local. Will definitely be back soon.

Finally, something different in the area! Great atmosphere, interesting tapas dishes, friendly feel. Couldn't believe I was steps from home. I'll definitely be back for more zucchini flowers.

Visited Blackout tonight for the opening, incredibly impressed with the inventive decor and welcoming ambiance that filled the bar. Great variety of drinks, the house white was delicious as was the espresso martini. Sampled one of the pizzas which was great to share and incredibly appetising. The staff were conversational, attentive and added to the experience in a positive way. Definitely shall be returning soon and would highly recommend visiting Blackout.
