Bill and Marilyn - 16/07/2014
Our family group of 6, plus 2 toddlers, enjoyed a wonderful long lunch at Bistro Vinden recently. This family-friendly venue with rolling green lawns had great space to chase balls around, within eye view of our delightful table under the peppercorn tree. The owner, Sandra happily provided 3 boxes of toys suggesting they be opened at different times to avoid boredom (drawing from her previous experience as an early learning teacher). The food we selected from the wide menu was sensational, based on their family recipes. Sandra introduced many of the dishes with stories of the history and much-loved family favourites. The Semillon suggested was just perfect for our meal and we took a few bottles home. We will definitely return next time in the Hunter.
