Cygnet is a small town about 45 minutes' drive south-west of Hobart, in the Huon Valley, and it's home to The Red Velvet Lounge. The menu here is Modern Australian, with many of the dishes prepared in a wood burning oven that dates back to the building's construction in 1912. The dining room is an eclectic collection of found objects, contemporary artwork and general interesting nick-knacks.
