TEMPORARILY CLOSED AS OF NOVEMBER 2020. Ishizuka is a Japanese kaiseki (degustation) restaurant just off Bourke Street in the heart of Melbourne’s CBD. This tiny 16 seater exudes surprise and charm with its unmarked entrance, secret code and an elevator ride to the basement. What awaits when you arrive is nothing short of memorable. A set degustation kaiseki menu of 11 courses is inspired by the ingredients of the day however you can also opt for matching wines or even non-alcoholic matches. Ishizuka is open from Wednesday through to Monday.
