Lachlan Colwill's Profile

Lachlan Colwill, was born in the Barossa boy originally and began his early culinary career working in local restaurants such as 1918 and Saltram. He left the Barossa to see the world and was involved in many culinary tournaments that saw him placed 3rd in the world for a chef under the age of 30.

When he returned home Lachlan set established himself in Adelaide and ran the Manse Restaurant where he won Adelaide's 2008 and 2009 Best Fine Dining Restaurant, and 2010 restaurant of the year and Chef of the year.

Lachlan is now back in the Barossa Valley at the stunning Hentley Farm which has since been awarded many accolades. Hentley Farm was awarded the 2012 Adelaide Advertisers Best New Restaurant and 2013 Restaurant of the Year in addition to Best Regional Restaurant in South Australia.
