Executive Chef at Flower Drum for over 25 years and owner since 2003, Anthony is a leader in his field at one of Melbourne's most iconic restaurants.

A passionate supporter of Victorian produce, Anthony has earned a string of national and international accolades including Restaurant of the Year from The Age Good Food Guide and recognition on the S.Pellegrino World's 50 Best Restaurants list.

Flowerdrum has been around for 38 years, since 1976, and Anthony Lui joined the original owner Gilbert Lau as a junior chef in 1980. He worked his way up to head chef, then bought it as a part owner in 2000. It is a family affair, with his son Jason working as a maitre de and helping to keep the restaurant current.

Flower Drum has won Two Chef Hats from The Age Good Food Guide Awards 2007-2013 and most recently Three Chefs Hats from The Age Good Food Guide Awards 2014.
