PROFILE BY BEST RESTAURANTS

With a French name and a shopping centre location, you'll be forgiven for not guessing that Le Rendezvous is one of Canberra's landmark pizzerias. Established in 1964, this little restaurant with a big heart has been around as long as Lake Burley Griffin. While it can get quite crowded and noisy, the service is consistently friendly and prompt.

Very Disappointed long term customer - 23/06/2012
We’ve been going to LaRV for over 4 years. Our last experience will have us never returning. One person’s meal was “forgotten” and received 40 minutes after everyone else had eaten – with the waiter who had been told it had been missed also forgetting to reorder it. One of the orders was incorrect and the after dinner drinks that were ordered never arrived. When asked how things were that evening we responded honestly. The response? Saturday night is busy. Everyone wants to eat at the same time and things like this happen ... there are plenty of other good restaurants in Canberra. Indeed there are.

Pizza's were quite expensive for what they were. $17 for a lunch special- it was only a small pizza, it was cold by the time it came, was soggy, had very little flavour and we had to wait nearly an hour to eat at lunch time when no one else was dining there.
