Canberra, Australian Capital Territory

Top10 Image
One of Canberra's most loved restaurants, this is fine dining with all the flavour and service and none of the pretension. Most notably, the restaurant has their own farm near the restaurant, where they grow their own herbs and vegetables as well as looking after cattle and sheep. Famous for their excellent wine list and dishes like cured ocean trout with a wafer of baked fennel and tiny horseradish meringues, if you are visiting Canberra Sage should be at the top of your list.

Fantastic food, beautifully presented and wonderful ambiance. Left a little hungry but given my passion for eating, they may be doing me a favor. Destined I'm sure to win a couple of hats and bring much needed competition at the quality end of Canberra's dining.

I went there with my wife to be and the food was amazing with each dish carefully made. The service was amazing, from the time we arrived to the time we left we where treated with such great respect. This is the kind of place you go to when you want more than just good food but also a good experience. I am a young sporty guy so I eat alot of food. So if you normally eat big servings don't expect that here. Its about excellent food, excellent service and an amazing experience, one which I won't forget.
