PROFILE BY BEST RESTAURANTS
Situated in the dining area known as the Urban Market in QV's shopping precinct, e c pot cafe bar is the perfect spot for refuelling after a busy morning shopping. Displaying obvious Asian influences, the small dining area has a funky feel about it with low hanging lights and dark wooden tables and matching chocolate-coloured chairs. Always busy at lunchtime, e c pot cafe bar is great for a quick in-and-out meal that's no fuss, but genuinely delicious.

Short for express clay pot cafe and bar, e c pot concentrates on clay pot cooking, a centuries old tradition of Chinese cooking. Clay pots are first lined with raw rice and fresh ingredients are then added. This is then cooked over a low heat for a minimum of 15 minutes to reach the desired effect. While your clay pot is cooking nibble on an appetiser of deep-fried calamari in spicy salt, or Shanghai minced pork dumplings. Follow with a clay pot of mixed vegetables and vermicelli with dried shrimps, or chicken with garlic and black bean sauce. Non clay pot offerings are also available such as the deep-fried pork in sweet and sour sauce. Fully licensed, choose a nice glass of white or red to accompany your meal.
