DETAILSPrepare and enjoy a sumptuous feast of 4 to 6 dishes that are inspired by the fusion of Asian cuisine and fresh local produce from the Lovedale region. Participants will learn how to compile a tantalising menu, find and select the best local produce and balance fundamental flavours with the help of Majors Lane Restaurant's Owner/Chef Benjamin Sales.
GENERAL CLASSES Classes at Majors Lane are held every Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 1pm. The class price of $105 includes your lesson, lunch, souvenir apron, recipe booklet, and coffee, wine or beer with your meal. Classes are interactive and designed for a maximum of 14 people, and private classes can be organized for groups of 10+. Thai, Balinese, Sichuan, Indonesian and Vietnamese classes are available throughout the year.
CORPORATE CLASSES A Majors Lane Corporate Cooking Class is ideal for team building, and enables participants to enhance their communication skills, strengthening bonds between team members, build morale, develop problem solving and leadership skills and increase initiative. It’s a unique and interactive way to engage your staff and colleagues and is structured so that specific objects are met. Classes can be designed to contain both competitive and non-competitive components. Cooking Classes are held in the courtyard of Majors Lane Restaurant and are offered 7 days/nights per week, subject to availability.
