DETAILSMezzaluna offers a full-blown luxury dining experienced, with imported sculpture-inspired dining ware used to display the food as if it were fine art. Mezzaluna has hosted some of the most expensive and exclusive dinners in the world, such as the US$31,250 per person gourmet extravaganza during the Epicurean Masters of the World II gala dinner in 2007. The restaurant’s attention to detail is so high that they even launched a design contest to create front-of-house staff outfits, with top aspiring Thai designers taking part in the competition.
FOOD & BEVERAGEThe extraordinary culinary creations at Mezzaluna reflect the passion and creativity of the restaurant’s renowned chefs, Thomas and Mathias Sühring, who also happen to be twins. The chefs create modern, innovative dishes using carefully selected products enhanced by state-of-the art cooking techniques and a focus on using seasonal ingredients. Some ingredients are imported from different countries to add to the outstanding fresh produce sourced from the farms of Thailand. These seasonally-inspired menus are re-designed on a daily basis. Signature dishes include the Nova Scotia lobster entrée with beets, pickled onion and salad greens (pictured), and the main of Soulard duck including both breast and leg served with cauliflower and black truffle (pictured).
