DETAILS A simple palate of stark white and deep mahogany, coupled with dimmed lighting and high ceilings strikes the perfect balance between modern simplicity and ambient warmth. The exposed cellar is alluring for wine connoisseurs and large windows create a light and airy feel to the intimate surroundings.
FOOD AND BEVERAGE Drawing inspiration from modern French and local cuisine, Executive chef Simon Wright has created a nine course tasting and four course a la carte menu filled with experimental dishes that awaken the senses and invigorate the palate. The nine course tasting menu focuses on fresh seafood such as marinated kingfish and seared duck breast dispersed with excited dishes such as roasted French goats cheese, slow cooked pheasant ravioli and poached strawberries for dessert.
Beverages are only the most premium wines from Australia, New Zealand and France.
FUNCTIONSThe French Café has a seating capacity of 80 people, however distinct dining areas are available for private functions and group bookings for added privacy or alfresco dining.
