Anyone who has eaten at Chutney Mary’s or Cinnamon Club will be familiar with the high standard of Indian food they serve. Seeing a niche in the market for high-end Indian food and service, the owners recently opened Little Chutney’s, right next door to Chutney Mary’s. This latest addition to the already highly successful family of Indian restaurants is already proving to be a huge hit with diners. The ultra modern New York style decor smacks of class and comfort while the well trained staff leave you wanting for nothing.

The regional Indian favourites from next door are included on the menu with the addition of a slight Asian influence in dishes like chicken manchurian – a favourite with garlic lovers. There’s also lots of tandoor-style dishes (cooked in a traditional tandoor oven) with the smoked rack of lamb with rajasthan being a definite crowd pleaser. A big emphasis on food and wine matching makes choosing wine from their selection of 160 less of a task. And if you’re sick of the same old thing for breakfast, try Little Chutney’s on the weekend for breakfast with a subtle Indian influence. The eggs Benedict served on a mini-roti with coriander infused sauce works surprisingly well – try it for yourself!
