Established in 1991 and sitting on 30 acres of prime grape-producing soil, RiverBank has established itself as an award winning boutique winery, also gaining recognition for its culinary offerings in which Executive Chef Frederick Kirby is responsible for. The restaurant and cellar door is within an architecturally designed building also featuring a loft area suitable for functions and private events. Maximising on the wonderful expanse of the view, wide verandas are a natural extension of the restaurant , allowing you to take full advantage of the rural aspect whilst enjoying your lunch or casual platter with a glass of RiverBank's finest.
EXECUTIVE CHEF
Having honed his skills in various high level restaurants within Europe and Australia, including stints in 5 star establishments such as The Merrion and The Fitzwilliam Hotels in Dublin and Sheen Falls Lodge in Kenmare Ireland, Executive Chef Frederick Kirby has come with a wealth of experience that has been unleashed in the kitchen of RiverBank Estate. Displaying a menu that would whet any country appetite, his dishes are a refined interpretation of the rustic appeal of the region, resulting in heart-warming and honest fare, further emphasising his philosophy towards food as 'keeping it fresh and simple and cooking with the basics to enhance and enrich the natural flavours'

The appetising array of dishes at RiverBank, pays homage to the Swan Valley region of offering homely country fare with a fresh and innovative twist. Highlighting the use of local organic produce and making play of different textures and flavours, Chef Hornby has successfully made the transition of country luncheon to sophisticated dishes, worthy of being enjoyed amongst the alfresco vineyard setting. In addition to the a la carte menu, RiverBank allows for a more casual dining experience offering Gourmet Tasting Boards and Deluxe Platters. Enjoy all this with the fine range of RiverBank's estate grown wines including the Cellar Reserve Range, Fortified Stickies and their Methode Champenois and while your day away.
