What a breath of fresh air!!! Real food, with ingredients selected and sourced with respect and a focus on the freshest of local produce, cooked to perfection in a restaurant that observes sustainable environmental best practice. Manu and Jazz and their attentive and knowledgable staff will make sure you enjoy your visit. I have eaten at both lunch and dinner, and love the tapas type menu especially Jazz's crispy duck skin on spiced couscous. The soups, especially the cauliflower and blue cheese were smooth and so full of flavour, and the fish a delight. For the traditionalists you could not go past the deeply satisfying beef bourgignon, and both the panna cotta and the sharply creamy lime tart were a wonderful finale. I have taken my 90 year old mum, my very fussy foodie daughter and fussier partner, and a group of twenty something boys returning from a country weekend, all full of praise. And the Pinelli's wines (try the Durif) are wonderful to match with this new restaurants fresh and tasty offerings. Hard to fault, I will be going back often.  17/07/2012

Great food and wine and love the charm of this new Swan Valley cafe/restaurant set in the vines of the Pinelli Estate. I indulged in panfried gnocchi in rich and delicious gorgonzola sauce washed down with some delightful Pinelli sparkling juliet. My partner had the chicken Ballantine- chicken wrapped in pancetta and stuffed with chorizo and other tasty bits. We finished on the large range of desserts which like the rest of the menu are made on the premises. Fantastic afternoon. It is inspiring to see the husband and wife owners making a mark on this venue and the Swan Valley food scene.  18/06/2012
