DETAILS
Subiaco Hotel has become something of an icon in the suburb of Subiaco. It is a modern and gracious architectural statement which has softened over the years with the growth of creepers, manicured hedges & trees in the courtyard. The old world charm of the 100 year old building meets with contemporary decor inside. The polished jarrah flooring, designed pieces of furniture and ever changing floral sculptures creates a warm and welcoming touch of sophistication. The freshness of the restaurant in natural light changes at night to one of mood lighting, clothed tables & linen napkins.
FOOD & BEVERAGE
The Subiaco Hotel's food is managed under the eye of Executive Chef Brad Burton, who designs menus which are genuinely creative and interesting whilst maintaining connections with the pub culture. Brad is recognised as one of Western Australia's top chefs, whom is a popular guest speaker and demonstration chef. His classes fill quickly at the highly acclaimed Amano Cooking school. Brad has been working at the Subiaco Hotel for 8 1/2 years and has always believed in evolution & progress. He is never closed to new ingredients, ideas and embraces flavours from other countries but always remembers and respects traditions of the cuisines. The time Brad has been at the "Subi"he continues creating spectacular award winning meals.
The food is clearly about what the customer wants, not what the chef wants to say about himself. The menu changes every 6 weeks, and specials change daily. Brad is committed to finding, using and promoting fine local produce where possible. Cheeses from Margaret River or Gidgegannup, breads from New Norcia Bakery, beef from Harvey, veal from White Rocks are frequently featured. The presentation is simple, yet considered of the highest importance.
FUNCTIONS
The Subiaco Hotels' function room is the perfect party spot. Our first floor function area consists of a timber-floored and high-ceilinged room with an adjacent foyer for pre-function drinks. This is situated on the corner of the hotel overlooking the lights of Hay St.
This room has a great mood for private dinners with clothed tables and candles (20 -25 people). It's also perfect for a fun cocktail party or can be transformed into a more sophisticated lounge bar with our signature couches and soft chairs.
The upstairs rooms are also the perfect spot for seminars and meetings. After the hard work guests can congregate together to relax in the cocktail bar or stay for dinner.
A very popular spot in summer is the courtyard area adjacent to the cafe. It's perfect for a cocktail-style function for up to 100. This area is only available on select days/evenings.
Menus are available for a variety of budgets.
