Awesome. We took some friends of ours to Cream last night and we were not disappointed one bit. The service was really good. The food mouth-watering. We have visited a few fine dining restaurants in and around Perth and Cream was a surprising standout. I myself had the pork belly which melted in my mouth, it was delicious. One of the highlights apart from the profiteroles was meeting Karen the chef. For me, that alone would make me visit again. She was down to earth and a real person and a bloody good chef. If I could recommend an absolute hidden culinary gem in Perth, Cream would be the place. Thanks for a wonderful dining experience.

My husband and I ate here for my birthday and it was lovely- the service was impeccable, the atmosphere was lovely and cozy and the food was top notch. Everything came out quickly, and was still hot and tasted divine. I wanted to lick my plate! I asked if they could make the pork belly gluten free, and they made it for me, absolutely perfectly. To top it off the Chef came out to say happy birthday to me!

Dined at Cream last night after reading the reviews. Initially the service was great but half way through the evening (9.30pm) our lovely waitress clocked off and after that we were a bit forgotten about-we had to hunt someone down in order to pay our bill. Loved the decor, servings were very generous, desserts a little uninspiring. Didn't leave me wanting to rush back but was a pleasant enough experience.

Went to cream on a Tuesday night with my partner. Having being recommended this restaurant I had high expectations.
I have to say everything was fantastic especially the service. My partner’s meal was really simple but delicious. The steak was tender, cooked perfectly, mash was creamy and sauce complimented the palate. My pork belly was crispy and tender and went well with the strudel. However, I did find the filling a bit too sweet for my liking as the pork belly was already really rich.
Meals were perfect amount and atmosphere of the restaurant was really relaxed and intimate. It was a great experience!

Cream is a restaurant never to be criticised! The restaurant itself has the most perfect atmosphere, for either a romantic dinner, or with a group of friends. It is just an amazing restaurant, with great food, great service and a great atmosphere! Love this restaurant, and one we keep being lured back to! Not a restaurant to miss out on considering as well its reasonable prices :))

My husband and I went to Cream for Valentines Day 2010 and we were very impressed!
The service was fantastic and the atmosphere/fittings of the restaurant were great.
The entrees and canapes were the highlight! (Garlic prawn toast, perfect salt and paper squid and gnocchi). The mains were a bit weird tasting but good portions and the dessert nice but nothing that awesome.
But overall it was a very romantic night and we would definitely love to come back to Cream again!

Huge tables in romantic retro setting. Knowledge of wait staff is exceptional.
My companion's traditional Spanish Salt Cod for main was fantastic but the highlight was definitely the accompanying caramelised beetret crusstini as a side. My gnocchi was seriously mind blowing - wish I had ordered as a main instead of a starter.
I can't wait to go back. If you can't afford to dine here unless go there for a cocktail as these are awesome and you can enjoy the chilled out setting. Make you don't skip the blow wave - the crowd there are kind of cool and beautiful.

After reading the wonderful review about Cream I had to try the restaurant for myself.
Attending for their Valentine's preset degustation was certainly a romantic treat to remember. The trendy wall furnishings and intimate tables were setting the scene as was the champagne starter and garlic toast canapes. Each meal was perfectly presented and accompanied by a wine to match the palate of the meal. I preferred the Salt & Pepper Squid, followed by the red wine slow braised baby beef and French Chocolate Cake whereas my partner had the Potato & Ricotti Gnocchi in truffle sauce, followed by Lobster Saffron Risotto and Macadamia nut crumble with white chocolate beglium mousse! Each mouthful was simply melt in your mouth stunning. The wait staff (whilst completely busy) were tentative and friendly.
My only complaint was that the tables were too close together and our booking was for 8.30 but we our orders weren't taken til close to 9.30.
Will definitely be back.
The food was simply phenomenal - definitely in the top 5 restaurants in Perth.

So my 2nd dining experience at Cream was only a few weeks after my first (see my other review). Returned on a Wednesday night and was impressed that our waitress remembered us.
To start, I had the crumbed Brie with a redcurrant glazed roasted pear and rocket salad. Sensational, in a word. Followed by lamb shank tagliatelle main which was ever so slightly bland, but I threw some rocket in with it which gave it a great peppery edge. My partner had the gnocchi to start and for one who is otherwise really, really not into gnocchi, I was just STUNNED. Softest, most delightful parcels of potato and pasta I've ever had in my life. Light, fresh tomato sauce and a perfect sprinkling of fresh parm. He followed this with the baby braised beef - I generally try to avoid steaks in top-grade restaurants because there are only so many ways a steak can be great. But the meat was melt-in-your-mouth quality, with an excellent green pea mash (very unique, loved it) and something exotic in the jus that I just couldn't put my finger on......
The Samuel's Gorge tempranillo from the reserve list went well with everything, but was a little bitey for my liking - not as smooth as I'd expect from a tempranillo, but it was an Aussie one as compared to a Spanish one.
Also, unfortunately, dessert was disappointing - ordered the passionfruit creme brulee and was expecting a neat little dish with a sweet and tasty brulee. Instead was served a long, thin slice with some sort of pastry/chewy base. Never had a creme brulee with a base? Incredibly tart but also too sweet at the same time. Served with a side of white chocolate sorbet which was also less than impressive; white chocolate icrecream would have been fantastic because I think sorbets are really for your fruits and less decadent flavours. But ambience, top service and great company made the evening perfect regardless. I will return again, and soon.

Last night my partner and I did a candlelit dinner for two here. I was after something quiet, romantic, subdued... but also new and hot and top notch quality. Oh... my... God. First time I'd ever been there but it quickly rocketed it's way up to #3 in my top 5 best restaurants in Perth (coming after Zafferano and Jackson's). Setting was cosy with black and dark red faux-fur on the walls, low red lighting and tealight candles. The service was impeccable and the food was, in a word, divine. Lemon and goat's cheese soufflé to start, accompanied by lemon dressed rocket and seared scallops - which were, just quietly, the best quality and best cooked scallops I've ever had. Ever. My partner had the pork belly for main, served with a feta strudel and I had the Thai salad with crispy duck leg. All the food was just incredible. Cooked to perfection, it was just a joy to eat and I was incredibly, incredibly impressed with every aspect of our dining experience at Cream. I fully intend to return - and soon.

I dined @ cream with my husband as a night off from our baby girl, and after his stint back from the minesite.
I had heard this place was quite unique so decided to give it a go for a surprise for my husband.
From having a warm welcoming voice (maria) take my booking, to have a great maitre d'hote who knew his champagnes, wines, and definately knew his menu. To the excellent service- the wait staff were never far away, but never too close! Too many times these days when you are trying to have an intimate dinner you cant due to the pressure put on staff to service and sell! Cream has an awesome balance between the two.
I love how cozy and intimate everything is in there!!
The food - where do I begin??? You can tell the owner is the head chef- the reason? Everything has been chosen with purpose. From the choice selected vegetables, meats and hand created sauces and accompaniments, to the comfortable luxurious surroundings.
The place was unpretenious, the food just wonderful, tasty and unique....
Perfect, you couldnt have made our night any better- this is now mine and my husband's favourite Restaurants !

From the minute you walk in to Cream, you are instantly impressed by the warm cosy atmosphere. The wait staff were completely unpretencious and unnoticable, the service was impecable. The menu was perfect. We all tried something different and were all impressed. A winner was the crumbed brie, I can still taste it...out of this world, as was the braised beef...this melted in your mouth, literally! and dessert...well where do I start. This meal was enjoyed by myself and 5 close girlfriends and was the absolute highlight of our girls weekend away..thank you so much. We'll be back!! xx
