This vibrant restaurant attached to Comfort Hotel Perth City is a breath of fresh air. K on Hay is not your typical hotel restaurant. Designed in an ultra-modern approach of contrasting textures and elements, it makes for a surprisingly warm and ambient dining experience. Feature walls covered in smooth pebbles, curve seductively through the main dining area and bar, while splashes of stainless steel and beech coloured furniture contrast nicely to present a sophisticated yet relaxed atmosphere. The contemporary surrounds of K on Hay makes it ideal to enjoy a drink at the bar or to dine in the alfresco area and watch the world go by. Another great concept is the open kitchen, where you can see Head Chef, Brad Anderson and his team hard at work to produce quality food using the freshest regional and seasonal produce from Western Australia and presenting you with an array of Modern Australian cuisine which is proving a hit with hotel guests and outside diners alike. FOOD AND WINE
Head Chef, Brad Anderson has produced a selection of mouth-watering dishes to suit a wide range of palates. The new menu showcases quality WA produce, offering you a choice of outstanding main dishes that are sure to satisfy the most discerning of diners. With the focus being on Modern Australian cuisine, the menu celebrates diversity with its Mt Barker Chicken Breast and Tassie Atlantic Salmon Wellington, also touches of Asian inspired dishes such as Japanese Scallops. The Chef’s “Of the Moment” Specials change daily and incorporate soup, pasta, risotto and stir fry dishes. To complement the food a selection of premium Australian and New Zealand wines are on offer, as well as a range of local and imported beer. For those morning meetings, K on Hay also offers an a la carte or buffet breakfast, which is available daily. FUNCTIONS
K on Hay makes a great venue alternative when planning your next function. The main dining area of K on Hay is available for exclusive hire and would suit larger events. Attached to the main dining room, The Carriage Way is distinctly retro, featuring a curved steel ceiling, ambient lighting and comfortable booth seating making it ideal for small groups or private functions, with a difference. Ideally, there is also the versatile use of the Boardroom which is suitable for corporate meetings or conferences. Alternatively the Boardroom can also be transformed into a private dining room, which can be used to host private dinners or cocktail functions.
