Co-owner and executive chef of Divido Jason Jujnovich knows his way around fine food. Having worked with the likes of Gordon Ramsay and spending time in the famed kitchens of Londonïs River Cafe and Melbournes Cafe Cucina, Jasonïs kitchen creations are nothing short of superb. Eclectically decorated with chocolate leather banquettes, delicate bamboo prints and exposed light bulbs hanging from the ceiling, Divido has an intimate ambience thats the essence of warmth.

Dined here a few months ago and have been trying to get a booking there ever since. Unfortunately, I'm a bit spotaneous and always book last minute so its been very difficult to secure a table at a decent time (I can't eat too late, its not a medical thing, more a sanity thing; I simply love eating too much to have to wait that long!). Anyway, finally got a table for next Friday, woo hoo! Can't wait to have Jason's duck again, its the best in Perth! I think the duck is way better than the lamb, I don't care that the lamb is his signature dish. And Divido's desserts.... mere words don't do them justice. Jason must be evil because he sabotages my diet attempts with desserts that are out of this world. When I was there, I had 3, yes THREE desserts: tiramisu, goat cheese cake with pistachios and finally pannacotta. Looking at the new menu, I'm a bit disappointed that the first two are on it anymore, he's replaced them with other dishes... but I guess I'll just have to be adventurous and try the new ones...life is hard... I'll have to bypass the entrees so I have room for life's sweet pleasures. All in all, probably my favourite restaurant in Perth. review 05/12/2008
