ENTERTAINMENT
Live music every Thursday and Sunday in the Lounge is led by our resident singer Catherine- Ann. A singer with a passion for smooth and powerful vocals that contrast with soft husky, Catherine-Ann’s performance is a charismatic, emotive and engaging. Performing as part of a jazz duo, her repertoire of mainstream and swing jazz favourites provides an “Upper East Side” feel to the Zanders lounge bar.

At Zanders the secret of a successful event is the service. Whether hosting an event in 'the lounge' or in the sizeable restaurant, the iconic location together with Zanders' reputation as a first-class event destination enables Zanders to tailor functions from 30 to 300 people.
Zanders has successfully managed functions for Price Waterhouse Coopers, Lion-Nathan, Kevin Sheedy, St. George Illawarra, Town of Cambridge and City of Stirling in addition to countless birthday parties, anniversary parties, christenings and weddings. In the words of the City Beach Club President, Zanders provided “the best catered function in the 35 year history of the club”.
Breakfast consists of the usual favourites with a good mix of sweet and savoury creations, before changing to the lunch menu complete with club sandwich, or the popular Scarborough Beach burger. For those after something a little more adventurous, try the homemade pate maison served with crispy toast. As the sun begins to dip below the horizon, talk of dinner is met with main menu offerings like the beef stroganoff risotto, braised pork belly or the chicken breast with goat cheese . Carnivores will be impressed with the MSA-grade aged beef fillet while those wanting to keep the seaside theme have mussels, or the divine seafood risotto to choose from. Perhaps one of the best things about Zanders is “the lounge”. One of Perth’s best-kept secrets, this cosy adjoining bar has always been here yet many are unaware of its existence. A shame, because it’s the perfect spot from which to enjoy a glass of your favourite wine with tapas as the sun sets on another glorious day at the beach.
