Head Chef Nick Birrell has created a menu designed to be enhanced by the fantastic range of beers available. There is nothing that Beer Ambassador and Brewer Richard Maroney doesn't know about beers and he, in conjunction with the head chef have designed an ever changing menu to match the beers. Try the Blanche de Neiges, a magnificent match with grilled swordfish steak. If you are looking for something with a little more body, Richard recommends the La Chouffe Blonde to accompany the Marinated Chicken Breast or Weinstephaner Dunkel to match the Forest Mushroom Risotto.

This unique cafe offers alfresco dining all year round but in winter it is warm and snug with gas heaters on and the room closed.

The sail & anchor hotel can cater for any event from birthday parties, engagement parties, work to socal christmas parties with five main areas.

Whether it’s a private dinner for 30 or a cocktail function for 100 upstairs at the Sail & Anchor can tailor a package to suit your needs.

The Red Room - a modern lounge bar seeting that can cater for around 50 peopoe, ideally designed for cocktails and canapes or meetings and presentations.
