Nestled in the picturesque Evelyn County Estate, BrownKorte’s Restaurant is a mecca for foodies, just 35 minutes from Melbourne. Run by award-winning chefs Martin de Korte and Godron Brown, BrownKorte’s menu takes its inspiration from the bushland surrounding the restaurant. The culinary collaboration sees big international flavours on the menu that range from Thai to European, and of course, are best enjoyed with the local Yarra Valley wines, located just a stones through from the restaurant.

Service was excellent. The food was over priced for what appeared on the plate. According to the chef fillet shrinks when cooked! Local wine from Swipers Gully was a nice match for red meat.review  30/03/2013

The location and ambience are delightful and refreshing. The service was first rate and the menu offered a range of dishes that made choice very difficult. The pork belly and beef were presented magnificently and tasted even better than it looked. A good selection of local wines by the glass offered a chance to sample a number in one sitting. Very enjoyable evening and I will return.review  20/01/2012
