The Outpost Retreat is a unique venue, with a funky restaurant in an old farmhouse serving top notch cuisine and wines, through to the Toolshed Bar, popular with locals and those wanting a more casual meal. Cant' make it home? Book one of the four self contained cabins which sleep up to three guests, or Omaroo House which can accommodate up to six people in comfort. The Outpost Retreat Restaurant is open Fri–Sun noon–2pm; Fri–Sat 6–8pm.

LOCATION Noojee is located around 90 minutes drive east of Melbourne, in the Gippsland district.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE With a menu boasting to be 90% local, Chef John proudly sources produce from the Gippsland region. Sour dough bread, fish, cheese, olives, goat, pork, Gippsland beef, smoked meats and local seasonal fruit and vegetables feature heavily on the menu. The more casual Toolshed menu includes gourmet burgers, chicken, lamb, beef, fish and pasta. Wines are mainly from the local area, plus a selection of quality wines from other states.
