The Fishbowl has been refurbished by award winning architect Alistair Sarris who has created a sumptuous space in a melange of neutral hues. Plush beige banquettes line the walls, surrounding white linen-draped tables set with luxe wares. Large pendant lights hang elegantly from the ceiling, casting the room in a warm, golden glow.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
International Head Chef Ron Debu and his professional staff use fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to create innovative modern Australian dishes with Asian undertones. An entrée of aged Angus beef marinated and tossed in a hot wok with fresh Asian greens, black sesame, and rice noodles is full-throttled in flavour along with a well-presented dish of bass strait squid that is crusted in Sichuan pepper and served on a spinach salad “a la Grecque”, topped with fresh herb and lemon aioli. A main dish of tender grain fed chicken breast farced with spinach, roasted red pepper and macadamia, napped with lemon myrtle and pepper berry sauce is a popular choice and harks back to the natural flavours of the Australian landscape. To finish, the raisin and rum crème brûlée with vanilla bean ice cream and sponge fingers is a decedent treat. The wine list provides a refined selection of top drops from the neighbouring estates of Bannockburn, Curlewis and Belbrae with Chardonnay, Shiraz and Pinot Noir the main varieties being planted in the Geelong region.

FUNCTIONS
The restaurant is well suited to a variety of functions ranging from corporate events to weddings. The dining room comfortably seats up to 110 guests, with fantastic views over the bay whilst Fishbowls fully licensed bar has a warming fire with an intimate entertaining area perfect to start off the evening. There are a number of beverage and food packages available to suit a range of time-frames and budgets.
