Housed in a corporate office building which is home to the likes of the Westpac Banking Group is Zuffa, a modern Australian cafe and catering service. Open from 7am until 5.30pm weekdays, Zuffa is the main food stop for this large office block and even at unofficial food times it’s bustling and full of energy. The large dining area is spacious and neat with red cushioned banquettes lining the wall, wooden tables and chairs, and polished wooden floors. Alternatively choose to sit outdoors under a large awning overlooking Little Collins Street.

The menu changes daily here so regulars never get bored. Start the day with the breakfast special of two eggs cooked to your liking with crispy bacon on sourdough toast with a choice of tea or coffee (a bargain at $6.90), or perhaps thickly sliced fruit bread, fresh fruit salad, or the breakfast bruschetta topped with sauteed mushrooms. For lunch, choose from the gourmet meal selection (all served with a choice of two salads) with options like spinach and ricotta crepes, Thai fish cakes, meatloaf or the butter chicken curry of the day. Alternatively choose from the fresh sandwich bar. Wash lunch down with a freshly squeezed juice or smoothie. Alcohol is also available with a fair selection of wine and beer offered.
