Situated on the Yarra River within Melbourne’s iconic arts centre at Hamer Hall, Trocadero is a modern, sophisticated and accessible bar & brasserie, with stunning views of the Melbourne city skyline and river. Head chef Nick Bennett has crafted a modern European menu, available for lunch, pre-theatre snacks, dinner, supper as well as all-day bar dining.

A fresh take on a classic brasserie, combined with a specially commissioned wall mural by Japanese graffiti artist Jun Inoue, Trocadero is energetic and vibrant with an element of edgy style, which translates into the entire offer.

Ate here recently. Started with the sensational squid, loved the lamb cutlets and the tart tatin.The place is brilliantly situated with great views of the city. Prices are competitive given the creative and innovative touches to all the dishes. Hope to go back soon. review 03/09/2012

Went for a quick drink with a couple of friends a few weeks ago. Which turned into lingering dinner with great food and wine, while enjoying the superb city views as the day turns into night. Great ambience for a night out. Highly recommended. Get in before summer comes along as it might be difficult to book then! review 28/08/2012
