Originally a bar-only venue, Sippers has evolved since its inception into a warm and inviting dining space offering a range of small plates which can either accompany a few drinks or be combined into an impressive banquet. The entrance area used to be the main space but now serves as a small bar for a quiet mid-week beverage or for pre-dinner drinks. Upstairs, the main dining room with open fireplace is a great space for functions of any size, but usually features plush lounges and intimately arranged table seating for small groups. With rich ruby red walls, gilt mirrors and chandeliers, it is an opulent but comfortable room.

Food-wise Sippers offers a range of a la carte tapas. If you're of an indecisive disposition, there are also several pre-organised banquet combinations which are ideal for groups of any size. Individual plates might include saffron and potato tortilla with dill and lemon dressing, tiger prawns with chilli and garlic on saffron rice, lamb and rosemary meatballs with Napoli sauce or mussels, pippies and chorizo in a tomato and white wine broth. The Sippers mini paella is exactly what it sounds like, a single-sized serve of a classic dish infused with great flavours. A boutique range of wines and beers rounds out this most elegant package.
