Take a stroll down one of Melbourne’s most well-known lanes to discover a different type of dining experience. Inside, POP’s high ceilings and white walls are reminiscent of spacious art galleries. Follow the industrial steel staircase up to the colourful black-and-orange tapas and bar area, where regular live music and entertainment kicks the night off in style.

FUNCTIONS
POP Restaurant is the ideal venue to host your next private event. The restaurant can host up to 280 people and the diversity of dining spaces allows for a wide range of events, such as private dinners, corporate events and social gatherings. Dining packages can be tailored to meet clients’ specific needs, and the restaurant team will ensure that detail is meticulously handled for an experience in the finest of luxurious dining.

FOOD & BEVERAGE
With a focus on local produce and freshness, POP prides itself on its seasonal tapas and à la carte menus coupled with an exciting an eclectic wine offering. Chef Nick Filsell combines unexpected flavours and updates classics in POP’s menus, as well as weaving Turkish and Moroccan influences through the tasty tapas menu, such as the slow-roasted lamb shoulder with shaved fennel and coriander salad, pressed yoghurt and tamarind jus. The restaurant runs regular lunch specials, such as the Express Lunch option for just $18.50, as well as an all day menu that spans tapas and larger dishes. The beverage list offers a substantial choice of local and imported champagnes and sparkling wines, beers and red and white wines.

We had a wonderful meal at Pop. I had the barramundi and my friend had the trio of lamb. We then shared the chocolate fondants. Our French waiter was very knowledgeable about the wine list and recommended a great Pinot Gris. Overall it was a very pleasurable evening. Highly recommended.review 22/04/2011
