With sticks protruding from the ceiling and herbs growing down the stairs, Hare & Grace is an obvious signature of environmentalist and chef Joost Bakker. And those herbs that you walked past on your way into the light-filled earthy restaurant are likely to end up on your plate later on. The natural flavours of each ingredient are always priority in Joost’s food. Meats are given tender treatment or pulled from the charcoal-fired grill, and vegetables are brought straight from the Hare & Grace garden or local farmers. This environmental eatery and minibar will leave you with a clear conscious from the sustainable kitchen.
