Franco Choo's

I've only eaten here once but I already love this restaurant. The menu is short but really well designed. I was very impressed with the chef's clever take on asian/italian food. Everything we tried was just different enough to make it really interesting and new without being pretentious or fussy. The friend I went with works in the food industry and is quite hard to please, but she was just as enthusiastic as I was. The food is very reasonably priced and the quantities are generous. The place itself is really cosy and warm. To top it all off we had a really cute waiter. As for flaws I struggle to find any. If I was to be very fussy I could say that the lighting was a little brighter than I might have liked but there are probably people who would disagree. If you want a good value for money, top quality meal in a warm and intimate setting then I recommend this place. I'll definitely be going back. 07/03/2011
