DETAILSThe building features original bluestone walls, from the earlier woolshed days, expansive ceilings, soft curtaining and an ambient colour palette of rich golden hues. The space is divided into two main areas: the upstairs dining room and a stylish, downstairs lounge bar. The opulent upstairs space features bare stone walls, plush fabrics, gilt framed mirrors and well spaced tables draped with crisp white linen. For a pre dinner drink, cocktails or night cap, head downstairs to the chic bar, with its soft lighting, Chesterfield chairs, and ottomans. This venue provides luxurious lounging and a menu featuring gourmet woodfired pizzas and tapas, plus a small a la carte menu that complements diverse wine list.
FOOD & BEVERAGEBluestone's Executive Chef Cody Cunningham leads a dynamic team, presenting a Modern Australian menu, with both European and contemporary influences, in stylish and private surrounds. For entrée dine on the likes of braised western plains pork roulade, with swede puree and cranberry jus or baked scallops with capsicum salsa, parmesan and herb crust. All main courses come with house-baked bread, pendelton olive oil and dukkah spice. The menu features tantalizing dishes such as pan-seared duck breast with wilted cos, and cinnamon, star anise jus as well as char-grilled eye fillet with sweet potato, parsnip and tallegio dauphinoise. For dessert opt for the bluestone dessert platter, which features a selection of sweet treats to share.
