Bisq is so much more than a sandwich bar, but by no means a canteen either. Essentially a corporate eatery/cafe, long rows of communal tables (twelve in all) fill to capacity as the lunch break crew merrily bump elbows while they tuck into their tempting international fare. Opened since October 2002, Bisq is a firm favourite and much rejoiced alternative to the work place cafeteria, with charcoal painted walls, dark tinted windows and a sleekly stylish interior. A glass display cabinet runs the entire length of the room highlighting the day’s options, both hot and cold, with an international selection that’s bound to please office workers and shoppers alike.

With an emphasis on healthy food, Bisq’s regularly changing selection is designed using the finest of ingredients and made fresh daily. Variety is also important to their weekday regulars and all spreads and salad dressings are made in-house. Dine on a focaccia or chicken breast, Swiss cheese, bacon, mushrooms, spinach and avocado spread, or perhaps a Turkish bread with chargrilled vegetables, fetta cheese and semi-dried tomato spread. Hot options include ravioli with a bolognaise sauce, chicken fried rice, and hokkien noodles with vegies, basil and sweet chilli sauce. A selection of beer and wine is available for those who dare to drink and work.
