Going strong for seven years, Hallam's Waterfront Seafood Restaurant continues to source wild and farmed seafood, including Tasmanian Rock Lobster & Crayfish from pristine waters around Tasmania and is in a great waterfront location in Launceston.

In an early 20th Century wooden tea-room style building and situated on the waterfront besides the Tamar Yacht Club.
The main dining room has lots of character with soft wooden timber tones, giving the room a lovely glow in the afternoon and early evening. Hallam's is a great choice particularly for a long leisurely lunch in this sundrenched room.

Madeleine and Stephen:

The service was brilliant and the staff were very polite and friendly. The resturant was very interesting, especially the roof with all the amazing old rowing skulls and skis! My dad and I sat at a lovely table next to the window, we had some bread with butter and a vinaigrette, which was not that flash. We started off with oysters, which were quite small but delicious. Entrees were very good, the cured salmon with capers were to die for, completely making up for the bread at the start. We really liked this restaurant, we will definitely bring the rest of our family here someday! review 09/12/2011
