The new marina complex at Glenelg seems built for a Greek restaurant - and Zucca Greek Mezze is right at home. With a beautiful fit out of stark white walls, floors and tables, the interior is reminiscent of the white terraced houses of Santorini. Add to this the view, which overlooks the marina on one side and the white sandy beach and long stretch of ocean on the other, and with a little imagination you could be in Greece.

If the atmosphere isnt enough to take you there, then the menu will with its emphasis on simplicity and traditional Greek home style cooking. Start with the mezze options including the eggplant roulades (eggplant strips rolled and stuffed with minced beef and tomato) or the prawn kataifi (prawn meat wrapped in shredded fillo pastry and lima bean salsa). For mains try the goat stifatho braised with lima bean, tomato and vegetables or the grilled King George whiting fillets served with fried potatoes and pickled wild horta. Desserts include the ever popular baklava, but if you want something a bit different go for the galaktoboureko (traditional Greek pastry filled with semolina custard and soaked in honey). Order the Greek Mythos lager or a glass of wine from extensive wine list and sit back, relax and enjoy the view.
