The Brasserie is located next to the Adelaide Central Market, and has partnered with a number of growers and providores in the region to create a concept called "Seriously South Australian", which aims to promote regional producers. The restaurant provides a simple, modern, airy atmosphere where guests can experience some of the finest produce and wines in the state. Guests can even take the ingredients of their meal home, by purchasing a range of products from the Brasserie Shop.
THE CHEF
The Brasserie kitchen is headed by Hilton executive chef Simon Bryant, who also appears in the ABC series The Cook and the Chef. Simon has championed the "Seriously South Australian" concept, and features a different region every six weeks via the restaurant specials. He also runs cooking classes at the Hilton, as well as a food Q&A page on the Brasserie website.
FUNCTIONS
The Hilton offers catering and patisserie services, including cakes, tortes and gateaux for special occasions. All items can be personalised to suit individual tastes. The Brasserie also has a semi-private dining area available, please call for details.
