D-Tox me is an organic and bio-dynamic produce-driven restaurant – right down to the Paris Creek milk that goes into your coffee. The multi-story restaurant has been kitted out with bright colours and comfortable furnishings; stop in for a quick juice at the outdoor tables, a casual breakfast inside close to the action of the kitchen, or if you are after something a little more formal, lunch and dinner can be served upstairs in the light and spacious dining room.
The menu has been created with the health-conscious in mind. The emphasis is on low-fat, wholesome meals, without the compromise on flavour - they even endeavour to avoid butter and frying in the preparation. Salads, such as the grilled tiger prawns with avocado, preserved lemon and lemon mustard dressing, are healthy yet impressive. Main courses feature marinated Moroccan style snapper fillets with lemon couscous and garlic yoghurt, or yellow dahl with cumin and coriander served with wild rice and garlic yoghurt.
