The Barn restaurant is set in a restored 1840's coach way-station and has been one of McLaren Vales most popular restaurants since 1970. Enjoy the rustic surroundings, fine food, hospitality and an extensive selection of McLaren Vale wines and vintages. A cosy spot in winter with open fires and a cellar that can be set up for private dining.

Step back in time when you visit The Barn. Built in 1816 from convict-cut sandstone, The Barn was originally the stables and servants' quarters to John Warby's cattle farm, housing up to 40 convict servants at any given time, so it is not surprising that we have a resident ghost, albeit a friendly one!

The Barn Restaurant 1816 gives you the best Modern Australian cuisine with
old world hospitality and service. Set in the historical setting of our
190 year old, heritage listed building.

FUNCTIONS
The Barn is an outstanding venue for weddings, functions and conferences - so call or drop in to get a function pack. Fully licensed or bring your own favourite bottle of wine. Join in for the very popular Barn Wine Nights occurring monthly.

Catering for groups of 10 through to 100 guests, The Barn offers personal attention. You deal directly with the manager and head chef so you can be confident that every detail of your function or wedding has been taken care of. Wedding packages include table decorations, candles and fairy lights.
