The Terrace of Maleny Restaurant

Waitress was very apologetic however unable to present 2 x Brandy Alexanders as pre-dinner drinks as on the wine list. Customers disappointed and went without. Wine ordered excellent. Waitress suggested wine at half price customer declined offer and paid full price. Aerated Water ordered was very good until waitress attempted to top up glasses with tap water Customer not impressed. Ordered Crab entree noted upon delivery abundant amount of salad on plate approx i x teaspoon of crab meat scattered amongst greenery in serving. Customer disappointed. Ordered Mains as on menu snapper fish and was later advised it was no longer available and would Salmon be alright. Customer agreed and accepted Salmon. Ordered Mains Barramundi fish found sauces did not suit course. Vegetables very stringy and chewy. Customer disappointed. Refused sweets due disappointment on earlier courses. Account presented and paid in full $137.00 . Customer have experienced better elsewhere at $85.00 for 2 courses a la crate. We live locally. We have patronized this restaurant since our arrival in 1989. It use to be a much better standard. Would we return. Brian & Lynette  22/11/2011
