The Wine Barrel Restaurant & Lounge is built on rustic charm without the kitsch. The veranda is dotted with 25 year-old wine barrels to relax on for a casual drink while surrounded by the verdant bushlands, and the Mudgeeraba restaurant has the contemporary country charm of wooden lined floors highlighted by an Onyx stone bar. The modern Australian menu always prioritises local, organic and free-range ingredients with the proof in the flavourful dishes. A great selection of regional wines complements a perfect meal at the family run restaurant.

Stunning restauraunt reminds me of the little back street Melbourne hot spots. Its all about the venue not the view. Servous is relaxed freindly and welcoming. Food is excellent with lots to choose and very fresh. They use a large amount of free range and organic produce which is very rare to find on the coast. It was highly recommended to me and I was not dissapointed. review 01/11/2012
