One Chef's Hat – Queensland Good Food Guide 2012
bucci is the second venture for Spencer Patrick in Port Douglas which follows his other very popular restaurant, Harrisons. Spencer comes with full credentials hailing originally from London where he worked at Michelin star restaurant Marco Pierre White, followed by Melbourne's Fenix and the Trust. Highly recommended.

Over priced meals,staff is unhelpful and inconsiderate. Food is very simple and has no special taste for an overpriced and awarded restaurant. Whoever was the critic and awarded this restaurant does not know what quality food means or tastes like. People should go and dine at Hide Tide in Port Douglas and there they will find a true experience of what food should taste like and they are not over priced.review 09/01/2012

The food is consistently good quality and well presented. Great mix of dishes providing something for everyone with an authentic Mediterranean flavour. The deserts are a delight and round off a great taste experience. Try the chocolate cake - it is to die for.review 30/04/2011
