This fantastic seafood restaurant is a sensory delight for the eyes as well as the tastebuds. Wilson’s Boathouse is located at Brisbane’s new cruise ship terminal, surrounded by luxury apartments and spectacular views of the river. Neil and Lorraine Jedid are experienced restaurateurs, having created a success with their sister restaurant by the same name located on the shores of Moreton Bay in Manly. Their secret is to design a stunning restaurant in a stunning location and always serve fresh, quality food that is “cooked from the heart”. Wilson’s Boathouse at Portside Wharf offers all this and more.

On entering the restaurant you notice the stark white walls like white sails, the hardwood floors resembling the deck of a ship, and splashes of aquamarine that reflect the blue of the river outside. And then there’s the Oyster Bar - the first of its kind in Brisbane. Relax in comfortable chairs at the bar and choose from a range of Australian-sourced oysters that are shucked and prepared in front of you. There’s no better way to enjoy seafood than by choosing from this extensive and extravagant menu, featuring a number of platters that have your mouth watering just thinking about them.
