PROFILED BY DE GROOTS MEDIANew Farm is home to some of Brisbane’s favourite eateries. The vibrant cafe and restaurant culture is alive and well and Vue is testament to this, with a venue that provides for many a varied taste. Vue has undertaken a modernisation, and at the helm of the restaurant are two young, professional twin brothers. The two are notably passionate in their delivery of cuisine and service and have, to date, taken the restaurant forward in leaps and bounds. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day, there is a different tempo and feel to each time of service.
Warming up the day, freshly ground coffee made by experienced baristas accompany breakfast dishes such as grilled cheese on toasted corn bread with poached eggs and bacon. At lunch, Vue caters for this busy area with a platinum cafe-style menu and for evening diners, an Italian-inspired menu awaits. As in most successful restaurants, Vue sources fresh, local produce and hand-makes menu items with care. All cakes are made onsite and are a popular conclusion to a lunchtime meal, after perhaps the gnocchi with blue cheese and chives in a white wine and cream sauce.
