Palazzo Versace is not just about food, flavours and fragrances. It’s about the total experience of dining with exquisite decor and stunning panoramic views, and professional service to match. With three restaurants to choose from – Vanitas, Vie Bar and Restaurant, ll Baracco as well as the cocktail and coffee bar, Le Jardin – guests are assured of a unique and opulent experience. The Italian marble floors, designer furnishings and noticeably expensive dinnerware set the scene. Vie sits prettily on the boardwalk overlooking the marina where diners can enjoy contemporary a la carte flavours amidst a beautiful and distinctive space. ll Barocco caters for all-day dining, with both a la carte and a buffet in an elegant, informal setting by the lagoon.

For the avid food lover, Vanitas presents lavish dining, allowing you to choose the six-course degustation or from the a la carte menu. Whatever you decide, a qualified sommelier will be on hand to help you pick the perfect accompaniment to your meal. Smoked duck breast with sweet potato fondant, bok choy and sour cherry sauce pairs delightfully with a Grenache Shiraz, while herb-crusted baby barramundi with carrot puree, green bean and asparagus salad with a hazelnut dressing and red wine reduction teams well with a Pinot. To add the final touch to the meal, spoon into the honey semifreddo with strawberry compote, almond dentelle and clotted cream, or the passionfruit souffle with coconut ice-cream and maple syrup. For a savoury finish perhaps the cheese plate with port figs and walnut bread would be more to your liking. Palazzo Versace is class at its best, from the elegant artwork, professional service and sensational food to even the salt and pepper shakers.

Palazzo Versace opened in September 2000 and has since entertained and impressed many guests with its exclusive and luxurious ambience. Palazzo Versace offers a selection of bars and restaurants - Vanitas, Versace's signature restaurant, offers sweeping views of the lagoon and beyond.

A night at Vanitas provides a luxurious fine dining experience - ornate mosaic marble floors and palatial fountains viewed through an entrance of flickering candles. There is meticulous attention to detail, from the exquisite Versace tableware, knowledgeable personalised service and the sourcing of outstanding international wines. It is a rare dining experience of which Gianni Versace would have been proud. Vanitas is an important addition to the Queensland, and indeed, the Australian restaurant scene.
